This new Original series will be of realistic acrylic paintings of Australian Animals and bird portraits.

• Created using the highest quality products, acrylic paint, satin varnished on cotton weave canvas or archival birch timber panels.
• Framed with a sustainably sourced Tasmanian oak timber frame. 

Each piece will be delivered to you ready to hang, wire and brass D-hooks attached the back of the painting.

The painting is signed on the front and the reverse of the painting.

On the back of the painting will also include the date and title.

With this new series, my aim is to bring to you the opportunity of owning a Sarah Welsford Original painting at an affordable price point.

The added quality frame sets off the painting in a natural timber, suiting most decors.

This NEW Painting is of a Male King Parrot

The male has red plumage on its head and chest with a blue rump and green wings with pale green/white feather band along the wings.

They range from Queensland to Victoria and we are lucky enough to have them visiting us here Canberra in winter.

They are frequently seen in small groups and with other birds such as Rosellas.

They are quite large birds approximately 40cm in length. They mostly feed on seed and prefer sunflower seeds.

The female has a green head, red chest and green wings.
