This new Original series will be of realistic acrylic paintings of Australian Animals and bird portraits.

• Created using the highest quality products, acrylic paint, satin varnished on cotton weave canvas or archival birch timber panels.
• Framed with a sustainably sourced Tasmanian oak timber frame. 

Each piece will be delivered to you ready to hang, wire and brass D-hooks attached the back of the painting.

The painting is signed on the front and the reverse of the painting.

On the back of the painting will also include the date and title.

With this new series, my aim is to bring to you the opportunity of owning a Sarah Welsford Original painting at an affordable price point.

The added quality frame sets off the painting in a natural timber, suiting most decors.

Two Cockatoos!!

This NEW painting is of a Male and a female Red-tail Black Cockatoo.

Often seen preening and snuggling together, if you are lucky enough to see them in person and lucky enough to live in where their habitat is.

They are the most striking, highly intelligent and very social larger birds of the parrot family, with a long lifespan.

We are their biggest threat, due to habitat destruction.

With this bird meaning so much to so many it is fantastic to see so many sanctuaries working so hard on research into these beautiful birds.

Learning new ways to re-establish their food sources and renewing their habitats, installing nesting boxes and working hard to eradicate predators, such as feral cats etc.

Absolutely stunning birds, I enjoyed painting these two together on a canvas immensely, I hope you enjoy my original painting of them.
