This new Original series will be of realistic acrylic paintings of Australian Animals and bird portraits.

• Created using the highest quality products, acrylic paint, satin varnished on cotton weave canvas or archival birch timber panels.
• Framed with a sustainably sourced Tasmanian oak timber frame. 

Each piece will be delivered to you ready to hang, wire and brass D-hooks attached the back of the painting.

The painting is signed on the front and the reverse of the painting.

On the back of the painting will also include the date and title.

With this new series, my aim is to bring to you the opportunity of owning a Sarah Welsford Original painting at an affordable price point.

The added quality frame sets off the painting in a natural timber, suiting most decors.

This new piece is a painting of a Pale-headed Rosella.

There are six species of Rosella's in Australia, all looking quite different with their distinct feather patterns and colours. This beautiful Pale-headed Rosella is such a beauty with its 'pale' and subtle colouringon it's head and its striking feather patters on its wings of black, yellow and cobalt blue,

The subtle tiny red feathers that can appear on its head and above the beak are also different with each bird. The beautiful pale blue scalloped feathers on its chest are so stunning and range from pale blue to vivid cobalt blue.

I complimented this beautiful birds colouring with a pastel blue background.

This bird has such a gentle beautiful face, I enjoyed capturing its beautiful features.
