This new smaller original series will be of realistic acrylic paintings of Australian Animals and bird portraits.

Created using the highest quality products, cotton weave canvas, Tasmanian oak timber frame and archival acrylic paint and varnish.

Each piece will be delivered to you ready to hang, wire and brass D-hooks attached the back of the painting.

The painting is signed on the front and the reverse of the painting.

The back of the painting will also detail the date and title.

With this new series, my aim is to bring to you the opportunity of owning a Sarah Welsford Original painting at an affordable price point.

The added quality frame sets off the painting in a natural timber, suiting most decors.

This is my first time painting a Pardalote, however I have wanted to for quite some time, ever since they nested in our old rail road sleeper retaining wall may years ago. They are Pardalotes are beautiful sweet little birds. We had a pair nesting under my studio verandah last spring, I was lucky enough to capture them on video, with nesting material in their beaks. I love how quickly they dart by, often flying quickly towards you, trying to scare you off if you come too close to their home.

They have such beautiful colours in their feathers, as well as their amazing markings with their bright white spots, hence their name.
