This new smaller original series will be of realistic acrylic paintings of Australian Animals and bird portraits.

• Created using the highest quality products, cotton weave canvas, and archival birch timber panels with an oak timber frame and archival acrylic paint and varnish.

Each piece will be delivered to you ready to hang, wire and brass D-hooks attached the back of the painting.

The painting is signed on the front and the reverse of the painting.

On the back of the painting will also include the date and title.

With this new series, my aim is to bring to you the opportunity of owning a Sarah Welsford Original painting at an affordable price point.

The added quality frame sets off the painting in a natural timber, suiting most decors.

This is the first time I've painted a beautiful Bush stone-curlew

This bird has such an amazing look about it.

Its long stick thin legs, stream lined body and natural camouflaged feathers. It has such a cute face with such large piercing eyes, makes for a fun subject to paint. 

These amazing birds are found in grassy woodlands and eucalyptus forests, preferring areas with plenty of fallen leaves and logs providing places of safety and camouflage. They are ground-dwelling birds feeding at night on insects where they stalk along the bush floor.

This bird was an absolute pleasure to paint, we are so lucky here in Australia to have such incredible birds.
