This new smaller original series will be of realistic acrylic paintings of Australian Animals and bird portraits.

• Created using the highest quality products, acrylic paint, satin varnished on cotton weave canvas or archival birch timber panels.
• Framed with a sustainably sourced Tasmanian oak timber frame. 

Each piece will be delivered to you ready to hang, wire and brass D-hooks attached the back of the painting.

The painting is signed on the front and the reverse of the painting.

On the back of the painting will also include the date and title.

With this new series, my aim is to bring to you the opportunity of owning a Sarah Welsford Original painting at an affordable price point.

The added quality frame sets off the painting in a natural timber, suiting most decors.

This is the first time I've painted a beautiful female Superb fairy-wren.

This bird gets a little overlooked, especially as the male of the species is so vibrant, however the females delicate brown feathers are just as beautiful albeit not as vibrant but just as beautiful. 

Most of us are lucky enough to have these birds visit or even nest in out gardens and so we are so familiar with them.

They are so delicate in nature and plumage, it's always such a please to see them running about on the garden beds and ducking and darting out of the a hedge or bush near by.

Listening out for their sweet 'tweet' is always so lovely, making us aware of their presence and grateful they enjoy our gardens enough to be nearby.

This bird was an absolute pleasure to paint, we are so lucky here in Australia to have such beautiful little birds.
