This new series is a combination of two of my ongoing series,
‘Australian Birds up-close’ and ‘Still life botanicals’
I created this new piece because I wanted to combine my love for birds and flowers in a painting.
I have painted these beautiful subjects on a combination of silvery greys and highlights of colour splashes in the background.
Perched on the floral arrangement are a gorgeous male and female fairy wren.
