 NEW to my website and now available to purchase, next in my series Australian birds up-close. Red tail Black Cockatoo

I painted this piece as part of my ongoing series to show how beautiful the feather details black cockatoos have. When viewed up-close, the colour difference in with each feather becomes apparent. The black feathers catch the light and reflect the birds surroundings, hence the blues from the sky and the pinks and browns from the earth and the greens from the trees.

This painting was such a pleasure to create and I would say the owner of this piece will enjoy viewing this beautiful bird in their home just as much.
