I painted this piece as part of my ongoing series to show the beautiful feather details barn owls have. When viewed up-close, the difference in feather texture and structure becomes apparent. From the tiny white wing feathers to the ordered structured head feathers which frame its face, show the designs of such amazing feather adornment this birds has.
This painting was such a pleasure to create and I would say the owner of this piece will enjoy viewing this beautiful bird in their home just as much.
